Liquid Staking (LST)

Liquid Staking Guide

Deposit tokens and receive liquid staking tokens (LST) that represent your staked position.

What are LST Tokens?

LST tokens (vaSTRK, vawBTC, etc.) are ERC20 tokens that:

  • Represent your share of the staking vault
  • Increase in value as rewards auto-compound
  • Are transferable and tradeable on DEXes (Ekubo)
  • Can be used in DeFi protocols

Depositing

  1. Navigate to Stake page
  2. Select Liquid mode
  3. Choose your asset
  4. Enter amount
  5. Click Deposit

You receive LST tokens (e.g., vaSTRK) in your wallet.

How Rewards Work

Vault rewards auto-compound. The exchange rate between LST and underlying asset increases over time:

Day 0: 1 vaSTRK = 1.000 STRK
Day 30: 1 vaSTRK = 1.008 STRK (rewards compounded)
Day 90: 1 vaSTRK = 1.024 STRK

No manual claiming needed -- just hold your LST tokens.

Withdrawing

Standard Withdrawal (7-day unbonding)

  1. Call request_withdraw with your LST token amount
  2. Shares are burned immediately
  3. Wait 7 days for unbonding
  4. Call complete_withdrawal to receive underlying tokens

Instant Exit via DEX

For immediate liquidity, swap your LST tokens on Ekubo DEX:

  1. Go to Ekubo
  2. Swap vaSTRK for STRK (or vawBTC for wBTC)
  3. Receive tokens immediately

Note: DEX swaps may have slippage depending on liquidity depth.

Compounding

Anyone can call compound() on a vault to reinvest accumulated rewards. Callers receive a 0.1% incentive on the compounded amount.
